We’re excited to announce that Emma Werth has been appointed Vice President of Underwriting and Reinsurance. Emma brings a wealth of experience to our team at a pivotal time for Cowbell as we continue to scale our offering and expand geographically.
In her new role, Emma will report to Trent Cooksley, Chief Operating Officer, and will be responsible for product development and innovation, and standardizing processes across our global teams to ensure greater operational efficiencies. The main objective of her team is to ensure that Cowbell remains customer-focused and competitive in a continuously evolving market.
Prior to her current position, Emma was a Regional Vice President at Cowbell, responsible for supporting strategic growth across the east coast. She has over a decade of experience in insurance, having held key positions in both global insurance companies and specialized firms. Early in her career, she worked in customer-facing roles at State Farm, The Hartford and Liberty Mutual and then as an Underwriter at Zurich, NAS Insurance Services, Tokio Marine, and Axis Capital.
Earlier this year, we completed our Series C funding round and outlined strategic initiatives to expand our global presence, enhance cyber resilience services, launch innovative products, and deepen key partnerships. By harnessing advancements in AI and GenerativeAI, we’re scaling our technology infrastructure to drive efficiencies and accelerate decision-making for policyholders and brokers across traditional, digital, and API-driven channels. Emma and her team will be instrumental in this next phase of growth.
