We’re thrilled to announce that Thomas Pytel, Jr. has been promoted to Vice President and Head of Marketing. Pytel has served as Director of Digital Marketing & Brand since joining the company in January 2023. With over two decades of experience leading domestic and international marketing teams at specialty insurance companies, Thomas is uniquely positioned to help Cowbell scale during this next phase of our journey.
In this new role, Thomas will report to founder and CEO Jack Kudale and continue developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies to drive brand awareness, customer acquisition, and revenue growth. He will work directly with the sales, product, and leadership teams to ensure alignment with business objectives, fostering broker and policyholder engagement, and spearheading innovative campaigns that reinforce Cowbell’s position as a leader in cyber insurance.
Thomas joined Cowbell from Copperpoint Insurance where he was Chief Marketing and Communications Officer leading the company’s brand transformation and digital strategy. Prior to Copperpoint, he held various senior leadership roles in the marketing organizations for Nautilus Insurance Group (a Berkley Company), CAMICO, Allied World Assurance Company, and Darwin Professional Underwriters.
This promotion comes as Cowbell builds momentum following our Series C funding round. By leveraging advancements in gen-AI and focusing on customer-centric solutions, Cowbell is redefining the global SME commercial insurance landscape. As we continue to grow globally, we are focused on product development, promoting education in the market, and driving best practices to help build a more resilient digital ecosystem. Thomas will continue to play a critical role as we deliver value to our partners and customers.
