Cowbell Cyber delivers standalone cyber insurance through a network of independent insurance agencies. Our unique, innovative approach to cyber insurance helps insurance agencies move their cyber line of business online while policyholders can easily add cyber coverage to their cybersecurity strategy and proactively mitigate financial loss and expenses related to cyber incidents. 

This is a new position with the marketing team with the opportunity to be exposed to all marketing functions, in addition to building a world-class demand generation team

What we’re looking for:

We are seeking a high performing B2B marketer with a passion for building new categories and partnering with sales teams to accelerate revenue growth for a complex B2B2B go-to-market approach. As a growth marketer, you will drive and optimize all growth metrics from top to bottom of the funnel and in-product growth initiatives using all marketing tactics in the books.

You are a strategic and analytical thinker and at ease with tactical execution across a wide variety of marketing tactics. You are thinking outside the box, innovative, creative and inclined to explore untried and new ideas to reach and hook our targeted distributors and end customers.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and execute acquisition and nurture campaigns end-to-end: from ideation, to planning, execution, follow-up and performance tracking.
  • Day to day operations of marketing/sales automation, and website systems.
  • Identify and qualify new channel opportunities to insurance agents and develop offers that will get them to convert
  • Develop content and creative to support insurance agencies acquisition and lifecyle programs.
  • Some level of familiarity with digital production – Photoshop or Canva; video production a plus
  • Leverage key channels such as digital advertising, web marketing, video, webinars, direct mail, events, field activities and more.
  • Innovate: continuously test and optimize targeting, bid strategies (when ads), creative and landing page experience to drive volume and ROI.

This position requires close collaboration with sales and business development to define and schedule relevant campaigns.

Qualification: 

  • 5+ years of Quality Assurance experience.
  • BA/BS Computer Science or related degree, or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience with microservices and RESTful web services
  • Experience with CI / CD (Jenkins job integration, migration and report tools)
  • Knowledge of AWS, server programming, databases, and cloud architectures
  • Proven experience with delivering high quality software products within a full development lifecycle.
  • Good verbal & written communication skills demonstrated with the ability to communicate with developers and product managers.
  • Attitude and aptitude to be successful in a growing and fast-paced company.
  • Working knowledge of HTML and CSS, Java, Postgres and version control systems preferred
  • Performance testing with JMeter or Karate, preferred.

Who you are:

  • An analytical thinker with operational prowess; you love digging into the numbers.
  • At ease with using various sales and marketing technology tools (WordPress, google analytics, ad network, etc.)
  • Knowledge of Pipedrive, Hubspot or Salesforce. Experienced integrating marketing and sales automation systems
  • Some experience with a wide variety of traditional marketing tactics and motions (SEO, SEM, social media, webinars, SEO, ad campaigns, content syndication)
  • Good writer. You’ll be writing sales and marketing emails and occasional blog posts.
  • Strong problem solving and analysis skills, along with solid business acumen.
  • Demonstrated capacity to manage multiple marketing programs at once.
