I am thrilled to announce that we have successfully closed our Series C funding round, raising $60 million from Zurich to accelerate our growth and bolster our cyber resilience services. This is a significant milestone and I am excited about our next chapter and the opportunities ahead.<\/span><\/p>\n

State of Cyber Insurance<\/b><\/p>\n

The global cost of cybercrime is estimated to reach <\/span>$24 trillion by 2027<\/span><\/a>, and ransomware attacks alone cost small businesses $1.7 million per incident <\/span>on average<\/span><\/a>. <\/span>Small and mid-sized businesses are particularly vulnerable to attacks and cyber insurers can help mitigate these risks by ensuring they have the protection and tools they need to navigate rising threats. This foundational approach not only protects individual businesses but also fortifies the broader economic landscape against the growing threat of cyberattacks.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Deploying Capital for Strategic Growth<\/b><\/p>\n

With this new influx of capital, we are poised to scale our operations, expand our market reach, and innovate at an even faster pace. Our primary focus will be on enhancing our product offerings, leveraging existing advances in Generative AI to expand our technological infrastructure and strengthening our customer service capabilities.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

I am particularly excited to have Zurich on board as an investor and partner. Their deep expertise in risk and footprint in global markets will be critical as we continue to grow. Zurich shares our passion for innovation and our commitment to building a more secure digital ecosystem.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Strengthening Partnerships<\/b><\/p>\n

Our broker partners and policyholders are at the heart of everything we do, and we are committed to continuing to deliver unparallelled value and support for them. Our broker-first approach, easy-to-use platform, and simplified process have earned us their trust and we have seen licenced producer growth of nearly 3x over the last two years.<\/span><\/p>\n

This funding round now allows us to go farther \u2013 deepening our partnerships with existing policyholders and bringing our capabilities to more prospects. We will be investing in even more resources that enable us to better understand and anticipate the needs of our policyholders, ensuring that we continue to provide personalised solutions with efficiency.<\/span><\/p>\n

This latest investment marks a major milestone in Cowbell\u2019s fast-scaling journey, following a year of rapid geographic and product expansion, and technological growth.<\/span><\/p>\n
