Emma shared powerful insights on the rapid expansion of the global cyber insurance market, revealing that losses from cyber incidents are no longer isolated events and are deeply impactful for businesses and individuals alike.
The session addressed and debunked several common myths about cyber insurance, such as the misconception that small businesses aren’t targets or that insurers don’t pay claims. In fact, Cowbell has paid over $100 million in cyber claims since issuing our first policy in 2020, and our coverage offerings continue to evolve, becoming more comprehensive and customizable for today’s dynamic threat landscape.
Emma also highlighted Cowbell’s commitment to proactive risk management through offerings like Cowbell Factors, access to in-house cyber claims experts, and cyber awareness training via Wizer, helping policyholders not only recover from incidents but also prevent them.
