We are pleased to announce the promotion of Ben Ticali to Pricing Actuary, recognizing his exceptional contributions and professional growth over his six-year tenure with the company.
Ticali’s journey with Cowbell began as an intern while pursuing his studies at Drake University, where he spent three years gaining valuable experience before joining the company full-time upon graduation. Since then, he has steadily advanced through the actuarial ranks, with 9 out of 10 actuarial exams completed, serving as Actuarial Analyst and, most recently, as Senior Actuarial Analyst before his current appointment. Ben is anticipated to complete his final Actuarial exam, making him a Fellow by the end of 2025.

In his new role as Pricing Actuary, Ticali will assist with new product development globally while continuing analysis on our current products in terms of rate adequacy, product maintenance, loss analysis, actuarial reporting, and modeling. Ben will also be more involved in reserve reviews and reinsurance discussions, and analysis.
