Today the Cowbell team is extremely proud to announce Insurance Business America named Cowbell Cyber as a winner of its 5-star DE&I award. At Cowbell diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) are in our DNA. We empower employees to build teams and cultivate leaders regardless of age, gender identity, race, sexual orientation, physical or mental ability, ethnicity, and beliefs. We earned this award by going above and beyond the standards set for DEI initiatives.
One of the initiatives recognized by this award is our removal of conscious and unconscious bias from the hiring process. Cowbell evaluates resumes and candidates based only on accomplishments. First interviews are often conducted off-camera to prevent unconscious bias. We also welcome international workers: many of our employees have joined us from India and Europe. Cowbell sponsors visa applications so employees can work in the U.S.
We also understand the work is never finished. Cowbell is constantly looking at where we stand regarding our diversity, equity, and inclusions to avoid any current gaps.
